The 2 Crowns Standard: The Break-In Process
We do not print on cheap, chemically-softened blanks that fall apart after one season. 2 Crowns apparel is engineered using premium, high-density combed cotton and authentic garment-dyed fabrics. Because of this, our heavier garments possess an architectural, structured drape right out of the box.
Just like premium raw denim or high-end leather, true heavyweight cotton requires a break-in period. It will not feel like a flimsy pajama top on day one. With every single wash, the tightly knit fibers will relax, molding uniquely to your silhouette and getting significantly softer without ever losing their structural integrity or shape.
Master Care Instructions by Collection:
Heavyweight Fleece (Standard Hoodies, Crop Hoodies, Kids Hoodies & Sweatpants)
Our dense 400+ GSM fleece is built like armor. It is pre-shrunk, meaning the fit you buy is the fit you keep.
* The Wash: Machine wash cold, inside-out, with like colors.
* The Dry: Hang dry for maximum longevity. If you must use a machine, tumble dry on the lowest heat setting possible.
* The Details: Always tie your sweatpant or hoodie drawstrings loosely together before washing so they don't pull out in the machine.
Premium Tees (Oversized Tees, Standard Tees & Crop Tees)
Many of our premium shirts are fully garment-dyed, giving them a rich, custom vintage wash that is designed to fade beautifully and get noticeably softer over time.
* The Wash: Machine wash cold, inside-out. Because of the authentic garment-dying process, wash with similar colors for the first few cycles to prevent any natural dye bleeding.
* The Print: Iron inside-out if needed. Never iron directly over the graphics or foil prints to preserve the sharp Kingdom aesthetic.
* The Dry: Tumble dry low or hang dry. They are pre-shrunk, but high heat will slowly degrade any cotton over time.
Premium Bottoms (Mesh Shorts & Cotton Shorts)
* The Wash: Machine wash cold, inside-out.
* The Dry: Hang dry is highly recommended for mesh to maintain the breathable structure and keep the print perfectly crisp.
* The Details: Zip up any pockets (if applicable) and tie the drawstrings before tossing them in the wash.
Hats & Accessories
* The Wash: Spot-clean only. Take a damp cloth with mild soap and gently dab any blemishes.
* The Dry: Air dry strictly.
* The Rule: Never put your structured hats in the washing machine or dishwasher. It will instantly destroy the buckram (the stiff front panel) and ruin the silhouette.
